Hello, what would be the easiest way to update the price of a WPForms item by accessing an external API? Say I have a GET endpoint at https://example.com/my_val and this returns a dictionary {“new_price”: 10}, how could I have my server poll this so that I can use the value in the advanced calculations feature?

    Hi @thulium1,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Currently, we do not have a hook to allow you to modify a form from an external API.

This should be possible with custom code, but I apologize as customizations like this are outside of our scope for support.

In case you’d like to look into custom development options, we highly recommend using Seahawk.

In case it helps, you can see the actions and filters available in our developer documentation.

From our system, I could see your ticket #4004818. Please know that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums for the free version.

In case you have questions related to WPForms Pro (like about our Calculations addon), please continue the conversation in your current ticket, or submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard.

    Thanks!

    Hi @thulium1,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
