I’m testing out this plugin, adding and changing custom fields in a custom post type. I’m getting a “Code 2031 – Modified the custom post” alert. I’m expecting to get a “Alert 2057: User modified the value of custom field in custom post type”. Any idea what I need to do to trigger the alert to tell me which field was edited?

  • Hello,

Thank you for using our plugin.

I just double checked and tested this and can confirm the following behaviour:

    1. Adding a custom field to a custom post type generates alert 2056
    2. Modifying the value of the custom field generates alert 2057
    3. Renaming the custom fields generates alert 2063

So as such everything is working correctly hence it could be something related to your setup, so we need to do some troubleshooting. Few questions first:

    1. Is the custom post type a draft or published already?
    2. What type of custom post is it? Is it something you created or something automatically generated by a plugin?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
