    Hi Shabti,

APQ looks like a fabulous and long awaited add-on for modifying dynamic data queries and I would love to use it.

I have a CPT “events” that contains an ACF filed “startdate” that I would like to filter and sort, allowing me to show future events and past events as an archive. I’m using Namogo’s Posts Extra for that list.

I APQ’s settings, I added “Dynamic Date and Time” and set the options to “Custom Field is Expire Date”, then set the Expired field name to “startdate”.

However, I can’t seem to make this happen properly. It appears no matter what date format I set for the ACF date field, the resulting query does not show the result I’m after.

Can you give me some guidance, please?

Any date format should work, so that’s not the issue here. I think what you are need is Custom Field is Start Date, no?

    Hi Shabti,
Thanks for your instant response. That custom field exists and the list is filled with numerous posts. But the query result is just odd. I tried this on a test installation now, and things look a bit different. I’ll investigate further and hope you don’t mind if I get back to you if I run into problems.

    Keep up the great work!Cheers!

Hello, it turns out that some of the logic was off. Update the plugin and try again

    Hi Shabti,

thanks for the update! It appears the “Pre Expired” and “Expired” options for the “Dynamic Date and Time” selection have disappeared altogether…

Is there anything I might do wrong?

    Cheers

Hi, for semantic purposes, I changed the name of these options, because people didn’t know what “pre expired” meant.

Basically, if you need to show expired posts, choose custom field is Start Date and enter the name of the custom field which represents the expired date
