    Hi WordFence team,

My client is unhappy with the content in the email sent by WordFence for login-verification. It’s confusing some of our non-english speaking users. What’s the best way to modify this so my changes aren’t overwritten in subsequent plugin updates?

    Specifically this file:
    modules/login-security/views/email/login-verification.php

Ideally, I’d like to manage this in the same way as WooCommerce emails, where I can copy the file in question to my child-theme.

    Hi @blipdigital,

The login security part of the plugin does need an update for translation to work in this case, but it will work then for languages that have enough community translations for WordPress to generate the language files.

We have a development case open at the moment to introduce this functionality along with the wider customization of Wordfence emails and error page content. However, I am unable to comment on exact delivery timescales here on the forums.

Ultimately, if you do decide take any steps to manually modify template text for your clients’ use-case or come up with a plan to restore this custom text when the plugin updates the file, we are unable to provide direct support for that.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
