Modifying blog post date

    hello,
    With Gutenberg, today (aug 4) I posted a blog entry, but I wanted to change the displayed publication date to a different date (july 21) —
    I have changed it in the “publish date” section, but publicly today’s date still appears.

    Does anybody know why this might be happening?
