basic payment is basic in the sense that it is fixed and equal for all posts. That’s just the way it is supposed to work 🙂
However, there are addons that allow to set different options in different contexts, which would allow you to achieve what you need. The Category Custom Settings addon allows to set special settings for each category and the User Roles Custom Settings addon for each user role 🙂

I think the User Roles Custom Settings might work. As I understand it, there is a 30-day full money back guarantee on it if it doesn’t fit my needs, correct?
I purchased the category addon today and activated the plugin and trying to test it out but it’s not picking up any categories. It just shows the following message but doesn’t show any categories to select:
“No categories have different settings. Click on a category below to get started.
Personalize category settings
Do you want to value differently posts in different categories? You can adjust settings for each category, so that their posts will be paid differently.”
What’s the problem with this?
