more FB publish issues

It’s hard to believe how hard it is to get this set up. Anyway, i looked through here and don’t see this issue.
Anyway, I got the FB plugin setup. I can publish to MY timeline, but nothing shows up on the page that I want to publish too. If I deselect “publish to my timeline” and just select a page on the Social Publisher page, that does nothing, and nothing gets posted anywhere. ALso, when I choose the page I want to publish too, and select save, it refreshes the page and it looks like I am not even logged in.
Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy the problem? i realllllly don’t want to use an app like hootsuite.
