More HTTP requests after CDN
-
Hey guys,
I use the Litespeed WordPress plugin for months now and its great. I have just turned on the CDN portion of it and set it up to send images, css and JS to the CDN. I use CDN Bunny.
I’m not convinced its made anything faster. In fairness, im actually not sure if its made things slower… but either way, the one thing i have noticed for a fact is that the HTTP requests have gone from 72 to 87.
1. Any ideas why the requests will go up after a CDN? Is it even a bad thing, that they have gone up by 15 since they are coming from a CDN it might make no negative difference?
2. Is there any tips to further reduce HTTP requests because even 72 is high? JS combine doesn’t work on my site unfortunately as a couple of the menu items break once enabled.
3. Slightly off topic, but is there any news on when your CDN integration will allow for CSS inline images to get sent to the CDN? As it stands, Elementor puts
background images in a CSS file and they dont get sent to the CDN. I saw a thread a month ago where you guys replied saying you have it on your todo listCheers
