• WP-Optimize (paid version) helped me with First Byte Time on webpagetest.org. That seemed important and I have been running it for six months. I have also now added AMP for my posts and pages. Experimenting with organic search on mobile has shown it better not to have the plugin. I should also mention I am using paid version of EWWW optimizer which picks up js, cs, as well as image files. The AMP doesn’t come through to Google which is really what I’m after. So I have removed WP-Optimize and happy with EWWW and AMP. I also get higher scores on GTmetrix and ready.mobi now.
