I am running two separate websites. On both of them, the Mouse-over box no longer pops-up the text. Others are reporting this as well.

In upcoming 2.1.4 all issues mentioned in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/mouse-over-broken/#post-13593519 are solved. A preview is available as 2.1.4d8 at https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/footnotes.zip

As a consequence, and assuming that by lack of further feedback the issues reported in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/mouse-over-broken/page/2/#post-13690642 and following could be addressed as hinted in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/mouse-over-broken/page/2/#post-13691044 this topic will be marked as resolved.
