Hi,

Is it possible to move the image credit from the title field to the caption field? On jetpack when adding images from pexels it adds the credit to the caption field with a link like so “Photo by Timur Saglambilek on Pexels.com” | Photo by Timur Saglambilek on Pexels.com

Can this be consider please?

I’m glad I’m not the only one having issues with copyright credits 🙂 I think the that the should credits should be stored in a separate meta field. There should be a field for Author one for Source url and one for license. Then it’d be up to the theme to decide where to display that information.

I can see the value in keeping the habit to store copyright information in the caption, but the copyright information is too important to leave it ‘unstructured’.

There is also attribute button that ads links to the description field but the links are not nofollowed

Not sure I want to start adding meta fields for these extra image details.
I’ve gone ahead and added nofollow to the attribution links.

when adding attribution there is no space by and the name of the person.

Is there any plans to add more like Wikimedia or pxhere.com and similar?
