On each of my artwork pages, I would like to show multiple views of each of my paintings as a slideshow, similar to this artist portfolio page: https://www.saulchernick.com/panels-1.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to do this within wordpress and wonder if i need a new platform. The only current wordpress slideshow option has the caption placed on top of my art, with white text and black shadowed background. This is an urgent need. Can you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @zozorainbow

I hope you are doing well today.

By default, this will not be possible in WordPress, and you should look for a slider solution that can help in that matter. Please take a look at those solutions:

Thank you Kris, but I’m dumbfounded that this isn’t available within default WordPress. None of these plugins are basic enough to satisfy my need. There must be a workaround. This is critical to the representation of my work and I am in need of a better response.

    kindly

    Hi @zozorainbow

I’m afraid that there is no other solution apart from plugin or custom coding, where custom coding is more complex and time-consuming. As said, by default, WP core does not offer a slider solution.

Also, please note that there are multiple image sliders plugins on the market, and each of them has its own settings and features that you can modify to accomplish your goal.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
