Thanks for that link, I did look at that, and I have copied “blog” folder into the public_html folder but my blog does not seem to work right I get errors 🙁

This site, http://thecouponingdad.com/blog/ is where the files are gives a 500 error, “The website cannot display the page”.
Read and do this, http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Changing_The_Site_URL to make sure you have the correct site address and wp location.
Ok thank will check that out, currently like on my other server I had “thecouponingdad.com” redirected to “thecouponingdad.com/blog” what I have doen is copied all the files from the older server public, thecouponingdad, blog to the same on the new server
Was the redirect done with htaccess? Can you get rid of the redirect for now.

no I don’t think htaccess, I just went into my cpanel and did the redirect

Check with you host for the server status. Often you can do this yourself in your hosted site’s control panel.
I thouhgt I would share this, I was able to move my site over, with little to no trouble at all. I have to say Youtube has helped me once again to fix a problem that I have had.
