Moving a map

hi guys, one quick question:
i have embedded a map with N points in it.
Is there a way – from html text outside of the map itself – to move the map on the given location? I mean, for example, “Rome” would bring the map on something i centered as “Rome” in my map.

Any clue is welcome 🙂 thanks!
