Moving content from Global Content Blocks

Hi,

I am trying to fix a few problems on an old site and I notice that the site relies heavily upon the now defunct Global Content Blocks plugin. I have found a few sites that give some MySQL queries to transfer the blocks over to a new editor but it doesn’t give me any indication where to put these queries.

I am very new to wordpress and have inherited a lot of old wordpress sites that need fixing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
