Moving from custom theme to Responsive

    Have an existing cityguide (trilingual) with a custom theme (nonresponsive). Thinking of migrating to Responsive theme (not only for mobile/tablet adaptability), but also for standardisation with WP updates (custom theme has issues).

    How can I maintain the functionality/design of existing theme and make the changeover as pain free as possible ?
