Moving from Moesia theme

    Hi Kharis,

    I hope you are well. Am I right in thinking that the Moesia theme is no longer being supported? If so, are there plugins available to switch themes from Moesia to Sydney or Bogita? I look forward to hearing your advice on the best way forward with this, as I manage 3 websites currently using Moesia.

    Hi Jen,

    I am sorry for the delay in response.

    Currently we don’t have an instant way to transfer Moesia layout to Sydney. Everything should be done manually. In Sydney, we recommend using Elementor page builder, beacause our demo sites use it.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Can I just check – will Moesia keep running in the future? I assume it will keep going but there won’t be any support available? I’m just checking because some of my clients may decide to stick with Moesia if that’s possible?

    I will aim to move my own website over to Sydney at some point.

    I can’t assure this. Because we should inspect for each WordPress core release in the future for compatibility.

    Thank you for confirming – I completely understand.

    Is the Sydney theme or Bogita theme most similar to Moesia?

    How long do you estimate it would take a web designer to move the site from Moesia to either Sydney or Bogita?

    Hi Kharis,

    Me again. I’ve established that Bogita is e-commerce so I think Sydney will be a better replacement for Moesia.

    I’m looking at all of the demo’s available – are there any you would recommend as being suitable to switch businessowl.co.uk over to? I’d like to make sure I choose the right/best one.

    Hi Jen,

    Upon checking your homepage, I think, Main (free) demo for Sydney could work best for you: https://i.snipboard.io/Txlz9c.jpg.

    After importing, you would do your own content setup to replicate what you are currently active in your homepage.
