Moving large site to new server

Later this year I plan to shift my photography website to a new hosting service. It has over 1500 posts and 1118 images on the site.

What might be the best way to handle this please? I suspect the xml file for WordPress Export will be too large for importing into the new hosting service – I had that challenge with my daughter’s website and it took many attempts before finally getting all her posts installed but none of the media transferred over. I want to avoid this with my photography site.

Updraft is installed on the site currently but it looks like you have to download 5 different file types and then I’m not sure how they’re uploaded again – probably Updraft does manage that. But I’d like to hear from others what they use and what has worked best for them. Thank you in advance.
