Importing old SQL content into new install?

    Hi all

    I have found an old SQL backup from late 2013 and I really want to import it into my new install of WordPress. This will allow me to get my old content back.

    How do I do this? The databases are differently named etc. I haven’t a clue what I need to do.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    login to webhost , go to phpmyadmin,take backup of existing database. if no phpmyadmin then import database via mysql command.

    upload old one. if any error , solve it and reupload.
