• So, I have a server set up running apache and two virtual servers set up on it for two independent websites. Configuration worked fine and I had successfully installed WordPress on one of the sites.

After looking around here and elsewhere, I did a seperate installation of WordPress on the second site. I used a seperate database and edited the config file for the seperate installtion to reflect this. All seemed to go well.

Is this the correct way to do it? At this point the first installation seems to be broken and I can only assume it is resulting from the second install.

    Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

  • No that wont be it. Many of us run multiple install in sub dirs never mind virtual servers. Might be a redirect thing at the apache level ?

Maybe…I’ll have to look athe apache set-up later. The odd thing is that it was all working fine two days ago…now the original install seems broken. The original is here: http://www.holocronology.com
