Multi category Filtering

Hi,

Ok, this is what I am trying to accomplish and want to know if it’s possible.

Use wordpress to list job postings by location, category and then by sub category.

So the user would:
select a location category from drop down menu
– all postings in this location would display

Next from another category drop down list they would select a job category
– Only jobs in that category and (in the selected location) would display

Next they could select a sub job category and only jobs in the selected location and category would display rather then “all jobs within that sub category”.

So if I select
Category 1: Location – Nashua, NH
Category 2: Job Category – Web Design
Category 3: Sub-Category – WordPress

Only wordpress posts under web design and nashua, NH would show.

Should I start educating myself on custom taxonomies more? Or is their an easy hack that I might be missing
