Hi @beachholiday ,
I would be more than happy to assist you today.
If you are referring to “WooCommerce Points Per Purchase Total” add-on, it is calculated from the total of the order and it is not related to the currency used.
If you were asking about pro add-ons like “Partial Payments” or “Points Gateway” Please, open a support ticket here: https://gamipress.com/contact-us/
Hope it helps!
Dear @tinocalvo
Many thanks for your reply and offer to help.
I wasn’t actually asking about specific add-ons and instead was trying to understand how Gamipress handles multiple currencies.
Reading your reply:
- WooCommerce Points Per Purchase Total: how does Gamipress handle the following example: two customers place an order, one is GBP100 and the other is AED750. Is the points allocation based on the order value in the store’s home currency or on the absolute amount, i.e. 100 and 750?
- “Partial Payments” or “Points Gateway”: the same question here.
Many thanks for your help on this.
Kind regards,
Piet
Hi @beachholiday ,
Regarding WooCommerce Points Per Purchase Total: The percentage of the points that gives to the user is based on the total of the order instead of the currency.
Talking about Partial Payments and Points Gateway if you set a exchange conversion of 1$ = 100 points, every currency will have the same units, for example GBP1 = 100 points too.
Hope it helps!
