Yes good idea, one of my managers suggested to do this long time ago but I forgot about it, I modified the code here [1] it will be publicly released with the next version of the plugin, or you can use the development archive [2] if you want to test the new code now.
Alternatively (if you feel geeky) you can use this tool [3] to manage all your sites from one place, or if you want something more user friendly there is also this [4]. Let me know if this works for you so we can mark this as resolved or if you need more alternatives or different options from the plugin.

mate i have over 100 wp site….. i have delete my infiniti and now i have deleted the mainwp for jetpack….. if you make something like this….. you save the life of lot of people!
