I run a multi-site install (160 sites) where all my Google calendar plugins quit working yesterday. I’m finding that while the widget is still in the sidebar, On some of my templates I have to resave it on each site in order for it to show up. This is an unexpected, major time commitment on our part to get this fixed. Is there something else I can do to fix it at the network level?

On a different template I have the calendar is still there, but the CSS identifier changed and so the styling is gone and has to be fixed.

I’ve noticed that all the feeds are now duplicated (i.e. there are two holiday feeds where there was one). Does it matter which feed I use? Why were they duplicated?

You said in the documentation that the old shortcodes are supported for now and changing them is not required at this time. Does that mean that the old shortcodes are going to be phased out in the near future so I should just fix them now?

    Thank you for your help.

Was this after an update or it just happened out of no where?

It happened as a result of an upgrade of the Google Calendar Plugin to version 2.x
We were at 0.7.3 before the upgrade

The reason saving it might be helping is because when you save the feed it also clears the cache for that feed.

I am not sure why they would have been duplicated like that. You should only need one feed in there and it doesn;t matter which one as long as the shortcode id attribute matches the feed id.

Not sure if or when we might phase this out. I personally would suggest just updating them now.

Ok thanks for the info I will poke around and see if I can find out what might have happened. On a side note though, is any of it working better for you now?
