I have installed the latest version (1.0.23) of Mail Bank to my multi-site network, and network activated it. From the Network Admin menu, I chose WP Mail Bank and set my SMTP settings, and the test email worked perfectly. Then I went to one of the sites, and from its menu, the WP Mail Bank Setting page shows “Use the PHP mail() …” being checked (not SMTP). I changed it to SMTP, entered the settings again and clicked the Save button and got the green “Saved successfully” box, but after refreshing the page it reverted to PHP mail, and the test email gives an error.

What is the correct way to use WP Mail Bank for a network? I really would like to set it up once and have all of the sites use the same SMTP server.

    Thank you for contacting us!

We have checked & found that it’s working fine at our end on multi-site network.

If you are facing any problem then kindly provide us the screenshot for better understanding.

    Hi,

I’ve been having the same or very similar issue.

A screenshot wouldn’t be of much use I fear – visually all that happens is that the settings appear to get reset to their defaults after being saved. To clarify though:

    1. Click save
    2. Page overlaid w/ loading spinner
    3. “Settings saved” confirmation
    4. Brief pause
    5. Page appears to re-load
    6. Default settings appear in input fields

Trying to send the test email confirms that there are no settings saved.

Note that in my case it works fine on some of the network sites (including the “original” website in the network), but not on others. I haven’t been able to discern a pattern – all use the same theme and plugins and have few or no differences asides the CSS and copy.

Does that help narrow it down at all?

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi,
had exactly the same problem. In some (network) sites it worked and in some it did not.

Apparently the plugin fails when it is Network Activated.

I network-deactivated it from the network settings and then activated the plugin from within each individual site.

Now it seems to work fine.

Hi I have the same problem here…
    did you find a solution?

I ended up doing as cindyzld; I de-activated from the network, and then activated separately in each individual site. I bit of extra trouble, but it works.

Just to confirm, I came across the same problem. The solution is as above, deactivate and then activate per site on multisite. It still refreshes the page after a few seconds but the changes are saved.
    Thanks
    Richard
