    I think it would be beneficial to add pulling data from another site within a multisite. I’ve done this successfully by modifying your plugin, adding a site= attribute to the shortcode and using switch_to_blog and restore_current_blog to the gcb function. This was requested of me by a client that basically duplicates websites within a multisite that shares some data between them but only wanted to update the data in 1 place, the main site.

    Thanks for the suggestion but my developer no longer has the time to support this plugin and I don’t have the technical skills to do so myself so unfortunately I have to advise that with immediate effect the plugin is no longer supported and will not be developed any further. If anyone wants to take over support and development of Global Content Blocks you are welcome to do so under the terms of the GPL license.
