Site is setup with two subdomains site1 and site2
I want that new users can register and then can go to any of sites with same username and pw.
this is test site so I can learn how to make this happen

Does the setup code go into main domain or subdomain or both?
I have placed code in main domain config and in htaccess.
I cannot find in the config where to set up user athority

Main domain Site does not have a place for new users to register.

  • Moving this thread from “Meetups” Forum to Multisite forum – as Meetups is not for support or for asking anyone to contact you. Help is offered only on the forums and not by email (although you can opt to get notified of replies by email), but I expect someone experienced with Multisite will be able to help you get it set up.

If you’re using Multisite, there is only one install, and that’s in the MAIN domain. The subdomain is a ‘mirror’ pointing to the main domain, and WP handles the rest.

If you have two separate installs of WP then you don’t have Multisite.
