I have a page for each language (linked and all). And then i chose the one with the default language as homepage. but it doesn’t change if i switch language

have you tried working with hebrew language, i get an error message fails to download.

Yes, you can use it.
When download fails, admin interface isn’t available in your language, but all works correctly
