• Hi there,

First of all thanks for the plug-in, it’s awesome.

I have recently encountered an issues with it though – when trying to make my website multilingual.

    Ok so, here goes.

I’m using Divi to build my WooCommerce store, and I’m using TranslatePress to translate it. From what I can tell, Divi generally plays nice with both of those plug-ins by default.

I’ve already opened tickets with both Elegant Themes support and TranslatePress support, however so far I haven’t gotten an answer, hence why I’m opening it here as well.

Ok so basically, everything works great in the original language (in this case Slovenian), but when I switch to the 2nd language (English) – the sidebar widget doesn’t display all of the choices (sometimes it displays just some of them, sometimes none – the category placeholders are there, the checkboxes as well, but no “content”)

I’ve followed instructions given to me by the TranslatePress support and temporarily disabled every other plug-in that isn’t “essential” for this (basically only keeping WooCommerce, Advanced AJAX filters and TranslatePress active), while also switching to the Twenty-Twenty-One theme for the time being.

While switching from Divi to Twenty-Twenty-One “broke” my website from a visual perspective (which is to be expected since I’ve designed the website from scratch on Divi) – the actual filters somehow worked. Which, again, is weird, because by default Divi functions well with TranslatePress, as well as your plug-in.

I don’t see how these 3 things are intertwined, and I honestly don’t know where to turn to, so I’m asking all 3 of you, hoping that a solution can be found.

Hopefully I’ve explained it well enough for you to get the full picture, if not though please let me know and I’ll try to explain it further if need be.

Here’s hoping for a quick reply,

    Thank you

    Hello,

Please check this video to setup Divi Builder correct https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tkVYBelPKY

We do not check how exactly TranslatePress plugin work, but if it work in a same way as WPML or PolyLang, then it is required translation of all products, attributes and filters.

    Hi,

my apologies, but that video’s a bit redundant in my case. Like I said – everything functions perfectly in the main language, I’ve set everything up just like it should be, from that point of view.

I haven’t worked with WPML before, but from what I can compare TranslatePress and Polylang are a bit different from one another.

Eitherway, I’m a stickler for details, so I’ve gone through all of the translation (website & string-wise) before opening this topic.

That’s just it, I know everything is translated, because I’ve done so manually, on all the pages.

    Cheers

    Hello,

Please try to set option “Values count and output” to “All non-empty values are displayed; standard recounting is applied” and check is it dispaly all values for filters.

    Regards,
    Oleg
