When an application is submitted by an applicant it comes through 3-5 times on the Admin Panel
It seems to be a conflict with another plugin. Try deactivating all plugins except ApplyOnline & then test application from front-end to figure out plugin related conflict. If it works then try activating other plugins one by one to identify the concern plugin.
I use the add-on application statuses is there a way for me to list applications under that status on a page of my website using shortcode ?
Not right now, but we will add this in next plugin update & you would find configurations in FAQs section of ApplyOnline/Settings page.
