Hi Bart,
As far as I know there’s no built-in way to have multiple post authors for the same post in WordPress; since movies are nothing more than custom WordPress post types there is no direct way to achieve this.
You may find some plugins doing this in various ways, though, but I don’t know to which extend they’ll be useful to you.

thanks Charlie – indeed I found some plug-ins that allow for multiple authors so may try those.
But still a question: I only now noticed that searching on my website on any author’s name doesn’t return any content from WPML? E.g. even searching on my own name will only return other post types like news or blog items, but it doesn’t show any posts generated from WPML (ie so no reviews show up). Any idea what might be causing this?
thanks
Bart
There’s an option in your Settings panel under General > Movies > Movies in search results, set off by default, to allow movies to show in search result. Maybe you didn’t activate this?

Yes I have enabled that, and a search on any word or (part of) a title or actor etc will show all relevant movies, but a search on (part of) the name of an author doesn’t…
Even if I click on the hyperlinked author name in a movie (as in a ‘movie’ post from WPML) on the website, it will show all entries by that author in all post types in wordpress other than movie posts from WPML…?
Ok, interesting! I’ll take a look at that. Thanks for reporting!
