Multiple Auto Play Issue

Hi,

First, thanks for this plugin!

My Media settings:
Replace featured image automatically – when viewing single post/page.
Autoplay – when viewing single post/page.

The issue:
When I open a single product page (woocommerce) everything is great and the video autoplays.
When I pause this video, and open another different single product page in a new browser tab, the new product page opens and autoplays the video that belong to this product but also plays the video that belong to the previous product. (I don’t see the previous product video – just hear the soundtrack).

Even when I open in a separate browser tab a product that has no video, the soundtrack of the previous product’s video start autoplay.

Hi Alex,

Open one link and when the video autoplays, pause it.
Then, open the second link in another tab of the browser, and see what happens.
Then, pause it, and open the 3rd link in another tab, and see what happens.

Alex,

Because you couldn’t reproduce the issue, I went on and checked it on multiple browsers and devices to see what’s going on. It only happened in Chrome but only on one laptop.

I checked it on Chrome on another laptop and it worked with no problem, so I guess this issue is isolated to that specific machine.

I cleared Chrome’s cache on that machine, but it doesn’t resolve the issue. So it’s not a bug in the plugin, but if you have any thought of what can cause it on this specific machine please let me know.

While I was checking it on various devices, I saw that the autoplay didn’t happen on ipad & android (Samsung Galaxy phone) – Maybe you can check about this one.

update:
The problem with the specific laptop was solved when I cleared browser’s cookies – clearing browser cache was not enough…
