notifications are coming every ten minutes even after I turned the notifications off…
Hello @sharond214,
Thank you for reaching out to our support team. I’m sorry you’re receiving a lot of emails, that was not our intention with the latest update.
We identified an issue with our CRON system that has been resolved in the recent update. This issue may have caused some jobs to not run properly for an extended period, which is why you’re now receiving multiple emails. Depending on your retention settings and potentially external backup locations, there could still be jobs in the queue.
Disabling notifications will prevent emails from being sent for any jobs that aren’t already in the queue. Unfortunately, if the job is already in the queue, the email will still be sent. You can check how many jobs are remaining by navigating to your WordPress admin -> Total UpKeep -> Tools -> CRON Log.
Alternatively, you can temporarily delete the queued jobs by using the snippet provided below, which will stop any further emails from being sent. However, once the emails stop you will need to delete that snippet for future backups. Then make sure your notifications are turned off to allow to run, and enable notifications again once your queue has gone down. If your queue is small, I wouldn’t recommend this at all, as it could potentially interfere with retaining your current backup structure.

To add the code to your site you can use a plugin called snippet or you can put this in your active themes functions.php file. By going into your WordPress admin and going to Appearance -> Theme Editor and clicking on theme functions on the right and adding it past the <?php part in that file.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
Thanks,
Elana D.
