Multiple Blogs – One heading?

I just installed two blog separetly. I want blog2 to act as a pages within blog1. Blog1 is at http://salicylatesensitivity.com/ and blog2 is under the recipes tab. If you hit recipes then you can’t go back home to blog1 or see any of the other links in blog1. Is there maybe a way to just use the header.php from the top directory rather than the recipes subdirectory? Or is there another solution? Thank you for your help.
