    Hi Mike,

I’m just now researching job management plugins and yours looks pretty nice. I have one question before I give it a go.

I’m developing a website for a company that has 15 different facilities in different locations in my state. Each facility has its own page on the site. There are 15 different payroll employees that I need to create users for to manage the jobs at their respective locations.

Does your plugin give me the ability to create a SEPARATE job board for each facility where each different user can add/remove only the jobs in their own job board without interfering with the others? And if not, could I at least make one big company-wide job board where said users could post jobs, etc. but not be able to mess with the other users postings??

It looks like the plugin and addons give me all the functionality I need, I just need to make sure it can handle a multi-site setup on some level.

    Cheers,

    Steven Einstein

No. WP Job Manager creates only one job board.

    Yes!

OK. great. I like easy answers!

One more thing. I’ve been reading a bit. So it seems I can filter out what shows up on any given page using the jobs shortcode to filter by category, etc.

could I create a “facility” parameter (using the ‘field editor’ addon, maybe) and then on each facility page only have the jobs posted under that facility show up?

If this options exists, I just need to know it’s possible – I’ll figure it out if it is.

    thks,

You can’t create custom parameters, but you can use job types, categories, or tags (if you have the Job Tags add-on).

I would recommend just tagging each job with the facility name and then using the [jobs_by_tag] shortcode to display only jobs in that tag.

OK.. that might work, but I’m afraid the employees will mess up entering the tags, one character off and the job wont show on their page. It would be perfect if I could make the tags a dropdown list so the person could just choose their facility off of a list.

Is that possible? Or anything like that?

    thanks again for your responses,

There should be an option for this under Job Listings > Settings > Job Submission.

Change it to one of the bottom two: http://d.pr/i/13eKN/5UbopE15

    Thanks!
