Multiple Download – Inconsistent Results

    Email Before Download version 3.3
    Contact Form 7 version 4.0
    WordPress Download Monitor version 3.3.6.2

    I’m having some very curious behavior with my multiple downloads.

    1. When downloading all files on the form (14 of them) I get one of the files not linked and another results in a 404 error. I verified that all the files are properly resident in Download Monitor – and the form worked perfectly with previous versions of the plugin triumvirate. When selecting only the individual files in question, they download fine. So depending on the number of files selected from the form, I get different results.

    2. In trying to troubleshoot the behavior I noticed that Download Monitor is not logging the downloads. And Email Before Download will not clear the log (though it is logging stuff).

    I notice that others are having issues with download links not appearing and with 404 errors occurring. I seem to be having all of the symptoms depending on the number of files checked for download.

    This solution has served well over the past couple of years but some edge case bugs seem to have crept in. What are the chances that it can be thoroughly tested to restore confidence in its functionality?
