Can you please go to Email Subscribers > Campaign page and check if there are no multiple post notification campaigns active that are targeting same post categories? If yes, I would recommend to disable other campaigns and keep only one campaign active since that can be one reason why multiple emails are being sent.
Let us know if this is not the case.
I have the same problem. Only occurring since update of plugin & WordPress. I do not have anything called Email Subscribers > Campaign page

@priyabirdie We have tried testing this with the latest version of the plugin but the issue is not replicating on our end. Could you perhaps share any further information if you have or screenshot with us so that we can get some idea about the issue?
@modernnovel, in the admin menu(left-side) under Email Subscribers tab there is an option for ‘Campaigns’. Can you click on that and share a screenshot of the Campaigns screen with us?
Hi Support. I’m having a similar issue. The cron is firing every 15 mins sending the exact same message for the one post. So far there have been over 90 emails sent since the last blog was Published.
The Campaigns tab shows only the one campaign which has been running fine since December 5, 2019.
I have a similar issue and my client is quite upset. For some reason the plugin is sending emails to random clients, multiple times and the mails are in a backlog queue. It is only one campaign. Let me know how can I send you screenshots.

Any updates on whether the issue was resolved or not after the plugin update?
@asmipatel the issue was solved with the new version and deleting duplicate emails in the database, just in case.
@asmipatel I posted a new blog post, and the notification didn’t go out this time! Not sure why? Any tips on what I should do?
