• Hello,

I’m using Lite, almost pulled the trigger on premium version but I discovered an Accessibility conflict when more than one instance of a form is found on the same page.

I use the form as a CTA near the top of my page and again near the bottom.

Webaim reports individual errors of ‘Multiple Form Labels’ for each field field label.

Is there a way to adhere to WCAG 2 A/AA standards using multiple instances of a WPForms Form (without having to create two different but identical forms for top and for bottom of page)?

    Hi @xizor,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It’s definitely on our radar to work on accessibility issues of the plugin. We’re in the midst of having the plugin audited by accessibility experts before development work can begin. However I apologize as we don’t have an exact ETA yet.

    Any news? @ethanchoi

We have a deadline set late september for this to work out.

Either some kinda filter action workaround, or a plugin update.

Since public institutions in europe have a deadline with this soon, i’d recommend setting this issue among top priorities.

    Hi @alcnovicell,

I apologize as we don’t have an ETA for this yet, or a custom code workaround for this. We agree that accessibility improvements are important, and we want to make sure that this is properly done.

However, this requires extensive changes to HTML markup in the form fields, and the changes should play well with the multiple features we have in WPForms as well. As a result, we are doing careful research into the process.

If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to create a new post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thanks!
