    Hi John,

    For point #1, I’m not sure I understand the question. Can you please clarify what you are tying to achieve?

    And point #2, there is not currently, but this is an interesting proposal. We’re now looking into some options that would involve exposing this functionality from the Document Gallery Settings Thumbnail Management tab. If we find a clean way to integrate that functionality then you can expect to see it in a future release!
