I’m sorry to hear this, it looks pretty bad :/
But I just can’t imagine how this can happen.
And if you open those duplicates in the Media Library and check to which file they point to (File URL), is it the same file? Maybe it’s different sizes somehow.
But I’m curious to find out how this can be replicated. So if you have some steps I can take, it would be helpful.

They all appear to be the same URL. there is only one image on the server, although there is multiple sizes.
I do not know how to replicate as it was not there, before. And I am only guessing that may be the sync plugin is connected?
This plugin shouldn’t allow you to import the same file multiple times. That would be a major bug which I’d like to fix right away.

It is odd as there is 8 images in media folder, but on server there is only 1 + different sizes
I really not sure how this happened

Can you provide no help?
I don’t know that your plugin has anything to do with the issue, and the images are not imported 8 times they are just displaying in Media 8 times, even though there is only 1 image in the folder on server
Without steps to replicate the issue in this plugin, I’m not sure how to provide additional help.
By the way, I try to maintain this free version of the plugin whenever I find time. But doing it for free is quite challenging. So I’m sorry, but if it’s not a bug I can replicate, I can’t really fix it.
