Multiple Installations on MAMP

Hi there,

i´m running multiple wordpress installations on MAMP for a while now. Always went the same procedure: latest wordpress installation > database connection > everything works fine ! I did this with about 10 installations, which i used to work on different child-themes.

Now i just tried to setup a new one, but suddenly it allways displays Error establishing a database connection when i try to access the install.php in safari. Restarting MAMP or the system doesn´t help. Also all other Installations still work perfectly.

I even tried downloding older WP versions, duplicating existing installations and deleting wp-config, but i allways get the error.

MAMP seems to work correctly, both lights are green and like i said, all old installations are running perfectly.

Any idea what could cause this ?
