    Hi!

I have a webpage in Spanish and English and the sitemap.xml created is only in Spanish. How can I do to index pages in multiple languages? How can I do to translate the meta titles and meta descriptions of each page? (I use Polylang to translate)

    Thanks in advantage!

    Hello!

    Sitemaps
The pages from other languages can be indexed without the help of a sitemap. 🙂

Nevertheless, a different sitemap should be generated for each sublanguage. Depending on your Polylang translation settings, the English version may be accessed via any of the following endpoints:

    example.com/en/sitemap.xml
    example.com/sitemap.xml?lang=en
    en.example.com/sitemap.xml

In Google Search Console and Bing’s Webmasters Tools, you can submit the extra sitemaps.

    Title and descriptions
Each page and post has a meta-box underneath the editor, where you can supply titles and descriptions in their respective fields. The fields also support the String Translations feature in Polylang, and they may be automatically populated.

Ok, but how can we create the sitemaps of the other languages with SEO Framework?

When there’s no sitemap file in the root folder of your website, then that should happen automatically.

Do you have a link to your site so that I can provide you the URLs? 🙂
