• Hey Mailchimp,

Your plugin is easy to use but inadequate for anyone with more than one list, and this is letting you down, your service apart from that is excellent.

Could you update this plugin so that the widget will allow the selection of which list the user is signing up for? I could really do with this for several sites, I don’t really want to go with a 3rd party either as there’s no guarantee they’ll keep it up to date if you ever change your API.

    Cheers monkey!

  • Hey Zactoff,

Thanks for the feedback, I’d be happy to pass along the request. Just so I can make sure we’re on the same page, were you looking for the ability to add different forms to different lists on different pages on your site? Or moreso a single form, which is active throughout your site, which gives the user the option to select which list they’d like to sign up for?

If the latter, one current option would be to use MailChimp’s groups inside of a single list, rather than multiple lists. With groups, you can maintain affiliations in a single list and the forms will allow the subscriber to select which groups they want to be a part of.

    Look forward to hearing back!

I agree with the post, we would like to be able to target different lists on different pages

Maybe make the shortcode have a parameter to specify the list?
