I set the post notifications to send for the role “Customer” and set CC for 2 e-mails more.
Lets see whats happen with this configuration.

I have a beta version for you to try that might fix the multiple notifications issue that you’ve been experiencing.
If you could contact me directly via the BNFW website, I’ll send you a copy for testing.
Just know that I can’t take any responsibility for any issues that you may encounter and I strongly recommend that you do not test on a production (live) site if you’re worried about what it might / might not do.

And I have to tell you that made some specifics tests, setting de notification to send for only 2 roles, them the duplications decrease to only 2 duplicate e-mails. So I think that the issue is related about how many roles are configured to notification send.
