Multiple Profile update emails

Hi there, I am using your plugin because its supposed to allow my existing subscribers to update their preferences. Currently the subscriber preferences flow is happening like this:

1. Fill out the form. Get a message to update profile with a link
2. Land on a landing page saying that email to update profile
will be sent
3. Email arrives asking for 1 more step to complete (my text) with link
to Update Profile page
3. You then land on a page asking to click on a button to send another email
to update profile
4. You receive a 2nd email with link to profile page where you then can
finally choose the group

Also, the plugin is randomly adding “////” in place of apostrophes in button text.

What’s going on here?
