To be a able to select dedicated images for each term, please make sure to untick the One image for all terms checkbox of the image style settings.

I have just replied to your mail, and since the particular issue concerns the non-premium option of the plugin, please allow me to use this thread to remind our users that enabling the Hierarchical archive links option of the annasta Filters > Plugin Settings tab will force any filters based on hierarchical taxonomies into the single-select mode whenever they are placed on their respective archive pages (of type http://www.yoursite.com/product-category/product-subcategory)
