Multiple Themes across Different Pages

Hey all,

I know this has been asked several times, but I can’t wrap my head around all of the directions and existing posts. I’m new to WordPress and have NO CSS experience. I was trained on HTML when that was still the hot thing.

I have a blog called http://www.allthingswheat.com It’s a bread blog, nothing special yet. I also have a page written at http://www.allthingswheat.com/personal that I use to send out photos and things like that.

There’s two things I am really looking to do. I’m considering buying a new domain name…say dansphotography.com and using that to showcase my photos. I would like to host that at the same place as my allthingswheat page. Is that possible?

The second thing, and what will happen sooner than later, is using an existing wordpress theme designed for photography on just my allthingswheat.com/personal page.

I’ve read the posts about snarpher and templates but the explanations are too vague and I just dont get it. If someone is willing to take out the time to explain it I would really appreciate it. Judging by how many other similar posts there are I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one.
