    Hello,

ive got a problem with the multiple upload and the allowed filetypes.
I made a form where people enter their name, organisation and should upload a .rar or .zip file.

I allowed zip, rar files as an upload but when i try to upload a .rar file this error comes up:

    File.rar
    n/a 6.45 MB
This file type is not allowed. Please try another.

When i try to upload a .zip file this error comes up:

    File.zip
    application/x-zip-compressed 646 kB
This file type is not allowed. Please try another.

I also tried do allow x-zip-compressed, x-zip etc. but is wont work.

I also have another upload with jpg, jpeg, gif and png allowed which is working great.

Any idea how to allow .rar and .zip files?

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. File upload fields are subject to your server and WordPress’ file restrictions. If you set ‘jpg, jpeg, gif, zip’ as your allowed file formats, and that does’t work, that means either WordPress or your server is blocking it. I’d also be worried about the security implications of allowing zip or rar uploads. Maybe try the FileTrip plugin to implement a dropbox uploader in your Caldera Form.
