• I there,

I have multiple reviews per page, and need a user vote on each.

Is there a code to have multiple user votes on different aspects?

I tried the below from a another support question, but it didn’t work, does the ID have to be a number?

    [yasr_visitor_votes postid=”XXXXX”]

Regardless, when i did this votes stacked, so i would get 12/10, etc.

When i used words as the ID, it didn’t work at all, and all the ratings seemed to become the same one, so each would become 12/10 on each review, also stacked.

Hi Tylerbevins, thank you for using YASR!

Of course the postid should be the id of your post…but in 99% of the case you don’t need it! Just try to use

    [yasr_visitor_votes]

If you need, instead, your users to vote on different aspects, you need a Multi Set: first, create a set in the “settings”->”yet another stars rating: settings” and then open the “Multi Sets” tab. There you can find more info and create the set you need.

Once created, you can insert it inside your post!

    Let me know!

    Best,
    Dario

Hi there, is there no way to have multiple votes per page/post without making a draft post, getting the id, then customising the short code? It’s a little too convoluted for my client to be happy with it. Would LOVE it if this plugin could auto generate a unique id, its totally perfect in every other aspect otherwise.

    Hi joncpragnecy,

there is no other way, sorry, the shortcode must have a postid in order to work and the postid must exists.

    Best,
    Dario
