Multiple-users and privacy.

Hello,

I’m looking to perhaps use WordPress for a private double-blog. Readership & authorship would be restricted to two persons at all times. Would it be possible, with WordPress, to have a thoroughly private weblog with a password-locked access ?

Or does the Private feature boil down to ticking a ‘Save as Private’ checkbox below each post you want to keep private ? I read a little description for this feature. What does it mean exactly, that only ‘you can read’ and ‘anyone else with MySQL access’ ?
